The 2011 baseball season starts tomorrow, and there is a chance of a early spring storm on April 1, here i the North East. It makes you wonder if the baseball season is too long. Starting at the very end of March and possibly going into late October, or early November, it makes you think are 162 games really necessary? With many teams out of the pennant race by the end of July, or early August, wouldn't a shorter season be a good idea? Especially when MLB keep toying with the idea of adding more teams to the playoffs. What would happen if the baseball playoffs were "tweaked" to have the same format as the NBA, or the NHL? If too many more teams get in you could find your team playing till almost Thanksgiving.
To all the baseball fans who may read this I wish your teams well in the up coming season, you can purchase tickets for your teams at this link MLB Tickets
