All-in-one printers are an indispensable tool for many workplaces and businesses. That's because they're able to save money and space as well. All that's needed is a single machine, which can print, copy, scan and even fax. The 7225N cartridge is one such tool.
Being a laser printer, it's capable of churning out as many as 20 monochrome pages per minute with toner cartridges. It employs a resolution amounting to 2400 dpi x 600 dpi (dots per inch) for photo-realistic images and crisp and readable texts. Within it are two printer languages - BR-Script 3 and PCL 6. Both allow the machine to process complex jobs, including documents which contain a variety of font types and multiple images with toner cartridges.
Allowing you to meet day-to-day deadlines is the paper tray (250-sheet) and auto document feeder (30-sheet) that are available. The document feeder is especially helpful whenever you're copying, scanning and faxing using this machine. In order to handle your complicated tasks, a 32MB memory comes pre-installed.
Bond paper, plain paper, transparencies, labels and envelopes are the supported media types. When it comes to media sizes, there are a variety of compatible ones. Both the ADF and the paper tray can handle executive, legal, letter, B5, A5 and A4 sizes. Custom sizes ranging from as large as 8.5 x 14 inches to as small as 2.75 x 4.75 inches may be used on the ADF each time.
When you purchase this all-in-one machine, it already comes with a starter toner kit. Such can produce as many as 1500 monochrome pages. Likewise, it's also bundled with a drum unit, approximately yielding 12000 pages. Using genuine Brother toner cartridge and drum kit allows you to keep cost per page to a minimum and have the machine in top form.
It's capable of making monochrome copies. The automatic document feeder may be used for copying a maximum of 30 pages, or the paten, which can support up to an A4 size document. It's fast enough to produce 20 copies per minute. The document may be reduced or enlarged anywhere from 50 to 200 percent. There are useful functions around such as sorting, 2-in-1 copying and 4-in-1 copying. Also, it can work minus a computer.
Working as a scanner, it utilizes an optical resolution of up to 200 x 400 dots per inch. Scanned documents may be exported as JPEG, BMP, PDF, MAX or TIFF. You may directly scan to a file, OCR, image or even an e-mail. By downloading the iPrint&Scan application for free on the Internet, you may also scan directly to a compatible smartphone as well as print documents from it (JPEG and PDF formats only).
Working as a fax machine, it uses a Super G3 modem for fast data transmission of 33.6 Kbps. You may save as many as 210 locations for auto dialing. Using this machine in receiving and sending a fax is made hassle-free by the features it has. To name a few, we would mention out-of-paper reception, 600-page memory, fax forwarding and automatic redial.
Allowing you to operate the 7225N toner with less trouble is the back-lit display panel (monochrome) and use of toner cartridges. It has a body that weighs 16.3 pounds, and measures 14.7 x 10.3 x 14.7 inches (width x depth x height) with the use of toner cartridges. Connectivity options include hi-speed USB, parallel and Ethernet ports for attaching to a computer or sharing within a network.
