Seven Reasons Why To Buy Paracord Made In The U.S

Some of the top selling rope in the industry is nylon cord. Paracord 500 Type III comes in both commercial and military grade nylon cord with 7 to nine nylon strands and cut to precise measurements.

A lot can be said about top quality or premium paracord. Not all cord is created under the same specifications or under the same quality of material. There are some things you need to look for when buying commercial paracord 550 nylon cord.

Almost all good, high quality Nylon rope is produced in the U.S.A and under U.S.A specs. You may find rope that states it has these specifications, yet made outside the U.S.A. The problem is it will be impossible to acquire any certification to prove the specs were met and even more difficult to see any documentation to show an outside institution validated what was stated by the manufacture.

Obtaining your rope in U.S.A provides the buyer and seller a reliable way to buy and sell.

Now I going to share with you some reasons I talk shoppers away from paracord made outside the U.S.A. Here are some of the things I have come in contact with when rating paracord.

- Rope and Spools that are rated a certain length are melted together which ruins the strength if done incorrectly.
- Rope with breaks in the outer fabric cover.
- Paracord with a none existent core.
- Paracord 550 rope rated with a certain amount of inner nylon strands only having two or three strands.
- Rope using materials other than nylon.
- Rope using cotton core instead of nylon (Makes the core very weak).
- Rope not fulfilling the length declared in their ad or on the package.

All these things above are what I found when inspecting rope manufactured outside the U.S. Not only does this upset you when you finally get a product, open it and find out that is not what you ordered or what you expected, but it also damages a company's trustworthiness and customer loyalty.
