Amazon sends me emails to leave feedback and write testimonials on the products I get. After receiving a number of email, I finally chose to respond. I found they were asking me about different things that really confused me. Some questions had to do with the seller, who was that? Isn't the seller Amazon? Some questions about the packaging and delivery then lastly, about the product.
On my next purchase at Amazon, I paid very close attention to the testimonials that people left. None of those testimonials were like the questions on delivery, packaging and the seller. So exactly what was I missing?
I am embarrassed to say it, however it finally occurred to me that there were two different feed-back systems. The seller feed-back system was about the seller shipping me their product on time and in great packaging, the product review was, well, about the product. It became clear that the seller was being ranked for their performance on Amazon (and that was the marketing or manufacturer, and the product was being ranked for its performance as a product against its competition.
When I recognized there was seller performance AND product testimonials, I thought you might want to know even more about how to write a product review.
I hope this video was helpful. Leave a comment and let me know exactly what you think.
