Survival Backpack Camping Chainsaw - Built to Last - Great for Camp Fires and Emergency Fires

When I was establishing an extremely standard camping kit, among things I purchased was this SOS Survival Saw. Among the pointers that John "Lofty" Wiseman made in his SAS Survival Handbook was to purchase a versatile saw to put in a survival kit. He also recommended including particular items to an old tobacco tin (or something along those lines). I agreed with Wiseman's pointers and chose to include a couple of things to this standard survival/camping packet in an old tobacco tin and seal it with masking tape. A few of things that will fit in a tin are Tinder Quik Fire Tabs, an Emergency Fire Starter and some UCO Stormproof Matches. Together they can figuratively (and possibly actually) be a lifesaver when you have to start a fire in inclement weather.

This versatile SOS Survival Saw is far more compact that many others that come with huge rings. Wiseman says that when you get your saw, in order to safeguard it "from rust and breakage cover it in a film of grease" and that these saws "can be utilized to cut even quite huge trees." I have not tried any huge trees, but I have no doubt that if need be I wouldn't have an issue. This 24-inch saw is in a hassle-free pouch that can be tucked inside a backpack or, if you prefer, can be worn on a belt. This Survival Saw is a wonderful bargain that you may wish to include to your list of "needs" and "need to haves" to your camping/survival pack.

SOS Rescue Tools Survival Outdoor camping Saw Comes With 2 Emergency Mylar Thermal Blankets

"I've been searching for among these pocket saws for quite a long time now. I selected SOS and I'm very delighted I did. This device works with relative ease and it gives me comfort as my children and I camp a lot. There's nothing more crucial than fire when stranded in the wilderness. With this device, I know I can gather wood without tiring myself and in an emergency, you need energy to quest and develop shelter. I enjoy this device." ~ Nate Neveux

"As an outdoorsman and a gardening addict, I selected the SOS backpacking saw because it's constructed to last and, unlike lots of people who get saws like this, I utilize it a lot. A minimum of 3 times per year, I utilize it to trim branches on my mesquite trees and the upkeep on this pocket saw is very little. And the emergency blankets were a good little incentive. This was a great discover for me." ~ Manny Swanson
