Amazon's critiques were impressive for this item. It had numerous reviews and its overall rating was 5.0 the highest possible Amazon can give an item and few products can do this with this many reviews. Here were a couple reviews off of Amazon.com so you can see what I mean "This is a most lovely box. My husband loves it! It is elegant and very artistic; the different woods are really perfectly selected and the workmanship is excellent. Thanks much, this is a great gift." and "I was hunting for an unique gift for friends; this filled my search. The finishing work was detailed and the wood so smooth feeling. It was lined inside; just lovely. I would highly recommend the product to anyone looking for a "different" idea for anyone on their gift list.".
This is actually a cool box and perfect for a young man to keep his precious items in (pocket knife, memorable coins, medals, medallions, etc). It shows 14 individual parts and uses 11 unique wood species. Every box is an authentic artwork-- no two are the same as a result of the assorted wood grains and patterns in each box. Mine has Bennin, Poplar (a green wood for the eyes of the Eagle), Wenge for the wings (what a great choice), Flakey Maple for the white feathers. This is a true work of art. The best part was my nephew loved it. He likes the great outdoors and loves eagles, especially the American Eagle.
I just want to say thank you to MarqART Wood Designs for making such a great product and making it available on a great web site like Amazon.

Inlaid wood art jewelry box is actually an unique and original work of art. Product specifics: It has approximate outside measurements are 4 x 5.25 x 1.5 Inches and the inside measurements are 3.4 x 4.9 x 0.7 Inches. The inside walls are natural wood with a lacquer finish and the bottom has black velvet to avoid valuable items being kept inside from scratching. The box is created from ecologically friendly Rubberwood [matured plantation trees that are no longer able to produce latex] with a lacquer finish.
