The simplest method to record digital audio is thru Sound Recorder, a pre-installed application in Windows. The application is a simple recorder that's excellent for newbies in the recording career. You must obtain a fine mic, a pop shield and a sound card with a mic port. On the other hand, you can also use a USB mic, which bypasses having a sound card. When you have these basic gears, you can then begin recording your first audio.
Attach the mic plug into the mic port of your sound card. This can be identified at the back of your laptop or computer, perhaps close to the speaker plugs. If you are using a laptop, this can be seen at the side. If working with a USB mic, you simply plug its cable to a USB port.
Position the pop filter in front of the mic.
